Last updated: 17-09-2025

At Grenddo we take your privacy extremely seriously. This privacy statement explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how we protect it, and what rights you have.

The policy applies to all use of the platform Grenddo.com, including creating and managing an account, using messaging features, scheduling appointments both online and in person, and making payments via our internal credit system.

Grenddo is operated by Granthill Studio Ltd, a company incorporated in England and Wales with registration number 16625603 and registered at Dept 6169, 196 High Road, Wood Green, London, N22 8HH, United Kingdom. Granthill Studio Ltd is the controller of all personal data collected or processed via Grenddo.

For all privacy questions you can contact us at privacy@grenddo.com.

EU Representative

Because our headquarters are outside the European Union, we have appointed a representative within the EU so that European users can easily exercise their rights.

Our representative in the European Union pursuant to Article 27 GDPR is Prighter GmbH, Schegargasse 1, 1020 Vienna, Austria. Contact is possible via the online form https://prighter.com/q/16625603 or by mail. Prighter acts solely as contact point; Granthill Studio Ltd remains the controller.

What data we collect

Grenddo is designed with privacy by design. We only collect data necessary for the functioning and security of the platform. This includes:

  • Technical information such as IP address, browser, device and log files
  • Internal user IDs and usernames/nicknames
  • Data for messages, appointments and transactions via the credit system
  • Never full bank or card details (payments are processed through certified payment providers)

Special categories of personal data (such as sexual preferences or behavior) are only processed when you voluntarily and consciously publish them, and only with your explicit consent.

Purposes and legal grounds

We process your data for:

  • Providing our services (accounts, appointments, messages, payments)
  • Security and fraud prevention
  • Legal obligations (such as fiscal retention requirements)
  • Analysis and improvement of our platform (anonymized)
  • Marketing or newsletters, only with prior consent

Each processing has a legal basis: performance of the contract, legal obligation, legitimate interest, or your explicit consent.

Retention periods

  • Technical log files: max. 12 months
  • Transaction data: minimum 7 years (legally required)
  • Messages, appointments and profile data: as long as your account is active
  • Support requests: max. 24 months, unless needed longer
  • Special categories of personal data: deleted as soon as you remove them or withdraw consent

Sharing of data

Grenddo never sells personal data. We only share with carefully selected parties such as hosting providers, payment providers and security partners. These parties are contractually bound to the GDPR. For transfers outside UK or EEA we use Standard Contractual Clauses.

Security

We take extensive measures such as encrypted connections, hashed passwords, limited access, monitoring and periodic audits and penetration tests.

Physical appointments

For physical appointments we only process strictly necessary data such as date, time and general region. Exact addresses are never publicly visible. In case of incidents, temporarily limited identifying data may be stored to support authorities.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for functioning, security and anonymized analysis. No third-party marketing cookies without your consent. You can manage your preferences via the settings panel in the footer.

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access your data
  • Have incorrect data corrected
  • Have data deleted or processing restricted
  • Withdraw consent
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interest
  • Receive your data in a machine-readable format
